Windshield release notes

Windshield is available for Dungeon Helper 5.

Keeping follower screens clear

Windshield closes game windows as soon as they pop up, so a stray window can’t block attacks or get in the way of controlling a follower client.

It isn’t meant for your main character. While it’s on, you can’t use normal game windows, so map a toggle key to turn it off when you need them. See the Windshield page.

Coming from Dungeon Helper 4

  • It isn’t bundled with the installer. Download Windshield from the Windshield page, then in the Dungeon Helper app use Plugins → Install from zip.
  • Map your toggle key first. Make sure a toggle key is mapped before you rely on Windshield, so you can get your game windows back.
  • Updates come through the app. Once it’s installed, the Dungeon Helper app offers new versions under Plugins → Check for updates.
